Very soft, but will felt together a little bit after you start working with it, but it is rather easy to frog aside from having to separate it every few seconds. It is the only thin black yarn I can find as a suppliment for baby yarn. If the yarn is thicker than this, I double it up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what I ordered, a little pricey but since I can't get out to purchase the product I'll pay the price.

I love this yarn so I was really glad to see Walmart carried it. I do wish they would really expand their in-store yarn departments as there is very few stores you can buy yarn at anymore since Joann closed. Walmart is neglecting a huge crafting market of knitters and crocheters that like to see the colors and textures first hand when shopping for yarn.

Nice color; different shade of brown, possible main color. I like it. Will blend in with other colors well. I usually make multicolor hats, afghans, etc. with simple patterns and let the colors do the work. I haven't used it yet but it's got possibilities.

Hidden Jewel.

I am currently using this to make a blanket for my husband. This is so soft to use such a beautiful color.. simply soft has so many different colors. You can find every single color you basically want in it.. Walmart has such good prices.

Very soft to touch..

I have been using Caron yarn for the past 9 years to make my custom design socks, this is the very best yarn for my creations. Thank you for this wonderful product.

Great for the price!

I'm very fond of Caron Simply Soft yarn, %26 use it as often as I can afford it.  The colors are lush, the yarn is soft %26 washable %26 easy to use.  It gives a glow to the article you're making.  It's easy on the fingers.  My only gripe is that it can be difficult to rip out if you have to correct a mistake in a previous row.

A bit expensive, but worth it

This yarn is fairly soft, considering it is acrylic. It comes in many colors and lends itself to different crochet projects. It can split easily, but not often.  Good basic yarn.

Good for acrylic yarn

I would recommend Caron simply soft yarn to anyone. The black yarn is not as twisted as every other skein of this yarn. I found, It splits easy and makes crocheting and knitting difficult.

I love this yarn.  Only con I have is PLEASE enclose yarn in plastic or paper so it doesn't roll around ......!
