I'm very fond of Caron Simply Soft yarn, %26 use it as often as I can afford it.  The colors are lush, the yarn is soft %26 washable %26 easy to use.  It gives a glow to the article you're making.  It's easy on the fingers.  My only gripe is that it can be difficult to rip out if you have to correct a mistake in a previous row.

A bit expensive, but worth it

I’m very happy to have finally gotten this skein of yarn to finish my afghan that I’m making. What upsets me is the fact that it took two weeks to get it!

Very soft, but will felt together a little bit after you start working with it, but it is rather easy to frog aside from having to separate it every few seconds. It is the only thin black yarn I can find as a suppliment for baby yarn. If the yarn is thicker than this, I double it up.

very soft, works well with baby yarns

I make between 30-60 baby caps every month and baby blankets for a local hospital. For newborns items must be soft and durable. That is what I get with the Simply Soft yarn. Also, the cost is low enough for me to afford. It does split when I am crocheting, and I wish Caron would work on that. But I love this yarn.

Soft, soft, soft, and affordable

this yarn is extremely soft for an acrylic. I used it to finish the edge of a fleece blanket and it worked perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what I ordered, a little pricey but since I can't get out to purchase the product I'll pay the price.

The yarn is very soft and was quickly sent.  I wish I would have seen a light blue however this country blue Will work well too,  I have not used the yarn yet and am excited to create my intended stuffed animal  with it fairly soon.

Caron simply soft yarn is always soft. The color of this pink was very nice and exactly what I wanted the price of the yarn, however is going up extremely quickly and is too high for me to continue to purchase as often as I had been.

Very soft… the yarn is very stretchy. Sometimes this quality makes your work look like you've missed or added stitches.  Also, the yarn splits easily if your hook is not inserted perfectly. 
I would still recommend, because it's a good value and the yarn is especially good for baby blankets because of its softness.

The texture is too thin. When I went to undo some of my crochet, The yarn stuck together so bad I had to throw my project away.  I a. sticking with RedHeart from now on if I can.
