Comes in a box, vacuumed sealed.  When I first took it out it looked like some of the other pictures posted of really flat pad. It doesn’t come with instructions but I looked back at the details on here and it said how it needs time to get bigger. It wasn’t even 24 hours later (I think it says can keep expanding up to 72 hours but not positive) and it was huge! We got the 4” one and it is all 4”. I love it on our bed! It’s just like memory foam and contours to your body. I’m really surprised from how it started that it got so big but it did and has been great! Very happy with the purchase. Just make sure you give it time to “fluff” up before you put on your bed. Attaching 2 pictures, how it looked right out of the box and then about 12 hours later.

Works great cooling fits a twin perfect. Only suggestion would be to buy a deep fitting sheet which I did not have . It fits without but is close to slipping off.

Foam topper

This is the second time I've purchased this topper. It's good. It does the job of softening a too hard mattress. But it's also hot - doesn't live up to the cooling claim. It flattens under heat and pressure. But it's about as good as any other topper.

I purchased this foam topper to place under the cushions of a couch I bought from Walmart. The original cushions were not thick enough to keep from feeling the wood slats underneath. Unfortunately, this 2-inch foam topper did not provide sufficient padding, and I can still feel the wood slats.

Foam Topper

Had note inside box saying to open box and remove topper upon receiving. “Inside” the box. So you did not see it until  you opened the box .  Next the topper has a huge crease. I got it because I am recovering from another spine surgery. My last one from another company was a lot better. This one is so bad, I may have to throw away and buy another one

Do not recommend

Product states on Walmart site it is "Made in the USA." I specifically purchased this over another product on Amazon because it claimed to be made in America. It is clearly not made in America and says so right on the box.  I do not recommend this product for that reason alone. This is an incredibly deceptive and misleading. Walmart should intervene since this is a third party product.

It isn't poor quality and great for the money value, however, it's too soft for me. I would have preferred it to be firmer. For those who don't have back issues, as I do, and would love a soft mattress topper, then this is perfect for you. I literally have to sleep with a thin pillow under me to be halfway comfortable. It didn't have a smell, and for me, it was a waste of money due to my personal preference.

It sinks in sooo bad. I’ve had one before and it didn’t sink in this bad. Makes it not even comfortable and can’t even get out of bed without a struggle.
