Super easy when we got it it looked a little bit overwhelming but as soon as I put up a YouTube video super easy to use easy to clean the pressure is exactly what my Pool needed. We have an 18 x44 the pump that came with it. The Coleman should've never been packed with it so glad we made the decision to upgrade to this one. The pressure couldn't be beat.

I absolutely LOVE this pump. This is our 2nd one we've puchased over the years. It is so easy to set up and maintain. Just fill with sand and it will work for a long time keeping your water clear and clean. It is well worth the extra cost and saves money in the long run over purchasing the paper filters every week. If you want a sand pump this is the brand to get. Great quality and flawless performance.

Perfect pump for our pool

This is our 2nd intex filter after 10 years of use for 1st one.  Only replaced on/off switch on first one.  Started to switch off the GFCi so rather than spend money to try to fix it I replaced it.  These filters do a very good job keeping my 18ft by 54 inch intex pool clean with little maintenance.  Always lubricate any rubber gaskets before assembly.  Don't overtight connections.

Very good filter

wow this thing is awesome for sure. this pool is super clear.  very minimal chemicals used. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up. took me all of 5 mins. Great pressure I run it about 4 hrs a day and that's all it takes. for my 48" high 18ft round pool to stay beautiful. Definitely worth every penny

When I opened it, I was a bit sketical about the quality.  It seemed a bit too plastic and cheap.  I assembled it with no problems, hooked it up as per directions, and it runs smooth and quiet while providing a surprisingly good amount of suction for my 9 foot stock tank pool.  I upgraded the 5 ft hose it comes with to a 15 ft hose yesterday and it, even more surprisingly, still has the same amount of filter suction as it previously did.  I am very happy with the product to this point and would definitely recommend.

Small and quiet but mighty.....

When opening our pool for the 7th consecutive season was I surprised when, after making all the connections the filter wouldn't turn on! i immediately searched for a pump and Walmart was the winner. This filter is an exact replacement with an improved flow rate. The old filter pushed 1,000 GPM and this one is now 1,500 GPM. A lateral "plug and play" situation. All is better now AND I chose a 2 year warranty for only $15.

Old Reliable!

5 stars for now. Works well on my above ground pool. very quite. This was a replacement for a Foting 13 inch pump that lasted 1month so fingers crossed that this is a good one

Works

I think this would work, but it's a bit to small for my 18' round pool, plus i have well water and it only moves 1500 lbs/hour. I needed a much larger unit.

Just okay

Unfortunately it did not come with all the parts it needs and one of the hoses is leaking. It seems really high quality with the exception of missing parts and the one hose. The pump pumps water very quickly so I know it's not bad overall.

Great pump but missing parts

Make sure you check to see what you do and don't have if you don't have the right hose that you have to buy them. If you don't have the right link, you have to buy them and you have to buy sand with this. It doesn't come with anything so make sure when you order this that you also order everything you need for your specific pool.
