Super easy when we got it it looked a little bit overwhelming but as soon as I put up a YouTube video super easy to use easy to clean the pressure is exactly what my Pool needed. We have an 18 x44 the pump that came with it. The Coleman should've never been packed with it so glad we made the decision to upgrade to this one. The pressure couldn't be beat.

I absolutely LOVE this pump. This is our 2nd one we've puchased over the years. It is so easy to set up and maintain. Just fill with sand and it will work for a long time keeping your water clear and clean. It is well worth the extra cost and saves money in the long run over purchasing the paper filters every week. If you want a sand pump this is the brand to get. Great quality and flawless performance.

Perfect pump for our pool

5 stars for now. Works well on my above ground pool. very quite. This was a replacement for a Foting 13 inch pump that lasted 1month so fingers crossed that this is a good one

Love this pump! We have a Colman 22' x52” pool we bought in 2020. We have struggled the last couple years keeping it blue. The cartridge pump it came with didn't work well and we had to  be replace the cartridges ever few days. Got expensive. We bought a summer waves sand filter last year and it was better but we still struggled with keeping it from going green. This pump has been AWESOME! Easy to put together and use! It's done a great job at keeping the water circulating so the pool doesn't turn. We've used minimal chemicals (just shocking every 2 weeks and a floating chlorine tab). Pool looks great after a month which before we were lucky to get 2 weeks before going green! The size of this pump is much bigger then our last one. Highly recommend! Worth the money to enjoy your pool for the summer!

Great product!

We received our new Intex pump with sand filter yesterday so this isn't a long term review however it will give you our first impression.  We have a Coleman/Bestway 18' around pool and it came with a 1,500 GPH pump that sounded like it was struggling from day 1.  That pump finally quit on us so we had to scramble for a solution.  I found this pump/filter combo and ordered it immediately.  We received it in 3 days and were pleasantly happy to find that it worked as a plug and play with our Coleman pool so no modifications were required.  It took around an hour to put together, add the sand, and hook everything up but once I fired it up and heard it run my ears sent amazement to my brain!  This thing runs and sounds like the big boy setups for much larger in-ground pools do!  It hums quietly and pumps water through the pool like it's nobody's business!  I love that there are no daily filter cleanings required and water wasted as with the other pool.  This baby is engineered to do it's job which is to keep your pool water looking sparkling clean!  Trust me when I say that you will not be disappointed with this purchase!

Runs Like A Well Oiled Machine!

We researched and hunted everywhere for a better quality pump for 15 foot intex pool. This was the only one in stock at the lowest price I could find. Once we figured out how to properly hook it up it worked great and barely had to use chemicals for our pool for the rest of summer. The directions are horrible on intex products so I recommend looking up tutorials on YouTube!  We missed one piece and the sand leaked into the pool for weeks until we figured it out. In the end this worked so much better than the small pump included with the pool.

Best price for this highly rated pump

I used this pump for my Coleman Power Steel 16 ft. x 10 ft. x 42 in. Oval Metal Frame Above Ground Pool and It is awesome. It cleaned the entire water perfectly. I also put the chemicals to clean it and it goes all around perfectly. It has a backwash option to remove the dirty water that filtered. I bought some attachments from the webpage of the pool and then I could use this filter in this type of pool.

Best thing I've done to keep pool clean. I have an intex  pool it hooked right up with no adapters. Had it up and running in 20 mins or so. The flow is incredible compared to the stock filter pump. Should have bought this when we got the pool.

We live in the country and have iron in our water.  It always takes several days to a week to clear the pool along with a hillbilly filter added to it.  I thought I would try this bigger, sand filter and see if it helped.  I hooked it up, added the chemicals and turned it on.  I was very impressed with the power and quietness of the filter.  You will need 2- 50lb bags of sand to fill it past the minimum point.  The filter started right up.  I was impressed with the power of the flow coming out of it.   The current nearly reached across the emtire 18ft pool.  I did not hook up my hillbilly filter just to see how the new intex filter did first.  I came back outside 3 hours later and the water was nearly clear!!!!!  I couldnt believe it!  After 5 hours of use, its almost perfect!  I am so impressed and happy with my purchase!!  I would highly recommend!!!

Very strong and easy to use. Converted my filter pump to this sand filter pump on Coleman pool and makes life much easier.
