I'm 6'1" and I weigh 300lbs: it holds me up fine. I prefer the chair without the wheels because I have had drafting table chairs before and they break due to my weight. Came faster than expected! The chair was simple to assemble. I do not have much use for the adjust feature due to my height. At times I do use the height adjust for fun and it still holds me up just fine. Worth the investment, I plan to keep this chair for years along with my current drafting table.

I have three of the desk models also. They are lower and have wheels. They actually accent the rooms they are in. This particular chair is in my bathroom. I have a bad back and have to sit down to brush my teeth or shave. This chair is so comfortable and I don't have to move it as it swirls like a bar stool.

Nice chair

I needed a chair or stool that was the right height for my sewing needs. This chair is comfortable, with a sleek design that matches my decor. I love that it is adjustable for me and my kids. I think it is a great purchase for a great price. I highly recommend it.

A chic and handy chair

The quality is top notch, no one would believe the low price I paid. They look very good, shiny and comfortable.

I bought 4 for the whole family, everyone loves the chair. Shipping is fast with the "Site to Store" option, way early than the web site estimated.

A beautiful bar stool

I was surprisingly pleased by this chair. It's just about high enough for my needs and actually pretty comfortable. If there's a downside it's that the lift sinks a few inches under my weight but a small stand was enough to make it high enough to maintain a standing height even when sitting. I wouldn't risk leaning back on it too often or too hard as it made of plastic and a cheaper metal but since most of the professional chairs in that do this cost several hundred to half a grand this is a really good chair for the price.

If you lean over, the seat will crack between the front edge and the hole near the front on the side you put weight upon. The rest of the features (swivel, hydraulic up/down, 5-leg stability, backrest, fit and finish) are all top-notch. I repaired the cracked seat with a piece of strap steel under the seat and a few pop rivets and now it's fine. Were I to buy another, I'd apply the steel and pop rivets before use.

Seat is not strong, so sit up straight!

I was looking to use this item for a standing desk. I was very disappointed that when I sat on the seat it would lower by ~4 inches. I weight 195lbs. It seams that the cylinder that supports the weight of the user is weak from the start... I can only imagine that this will get worse with time. 

As a side note (this has nothing to do with the 3 starts). Know that this seat is plastic. 

If you're looking to use this stool for a low height application it may be acceptable. If you want it to support weight at it's highest height setting, you're out of luck.

Pretty poor

Well, I loved the chair initially but I have had the chair now for 3 1/2 months now and it is beginning to sink down when you sit on it. It was working as expected in the beginning but now I will have to look for another stool.  I guess this one is not made for everyday use.  Very cute but didn't last.

Cute chair but the hydraulics didn't last

I purchased this chair because I had seen them in anothers store advertisement and was pleased to see that Wal-Mart had it too had a much cheaper price. I got the chair in and it was extremely easy to assemble but the adjustment shock did not work. The chair set in the highest adjustable position but once I set on it, it lowered all the way. Overall I contacted our local customer service and they said to just bring back. I know this was just one of those cases....do believe would have been very happy had the chair worked. Very comfortable.

Poor but....

We have been looking for stools for several weeks now. When we found this one we were excited. But as soon as I got it out of the package the weight and overall look and feel of the metal and mechanics began to disappoint me. Then once you sit at the highest position the sit began to go down by itself without using the handle. Nice lime-green color. Love the concept design BUT very poor materials. Mind as well by a chair and not a stool if the "adjustable height" will not function properly or may die faster than normal.

Very poor quality, not functional to specs.
